I was under the impression that the new DVD releases had no special features, however, I just bought the Pink Panther '63 DVD and discovered there are features on the DVD! -Commentary by Blake Edwards! -Trailer! -Still photographs -Trivia Track!
Do the other Pink Panther movie dvds have the same features.
I also bought Return of the Pink Panther DVD, which has bupkus on it.

I don't care what anybody says. TPP06 was still better than 'Inspector Clouseau' (1968).

IC must be a role that Arkin isn't proud of. He never seems to want to talk about it in interviews.

What's funny about Kristen Chenoweth, is that she's one of those stars that I was vaguely firmiliar with (I recognize her as that award hosting female in those Old Navy commercials), but I never quite knew who she was, or what her name was. It really wasn't until I saw The Pink Panther '06, that I discovered what her name was, and other shows she's been in.
She's quite cute, btw.

Thanks! I figured Arkin didn't have any positive thoughts on the role since he never speaks about it.

Curious, but did Peter Sellers ever say what his opinions were of Arkin's take on the role in the film Inspector Clouseau? I know Blake Edwards said once that he disliked the film.
Also, has Arkin himself discussed the film himself? It seems in interview when Arkin is talking about his past film roles he never brings it up. Perhaps he's ashamed of it.

My signature is my favorite role for Graham Stark. Then it had to be Hercule. Its a shame he didn't return, at least for REVENGE... What are you talking about? He was in Revenge. He played Professor Balls in that one.

Grahm Stark is possibly the most underrated of the Pink Panther regulars. What's your fav. role he did in the Panther movies?
I thought he was funny as Professor Balls. Better than Harvey Corman.

He is a fairly good actor. But he's a crappy Clouseau.

Roberto from SotPP. Roger Moore was good for his one scene.
Didn't like Alan Arkin much. His potrayal of Clouseau was too winy, gripy, and over the top. And I've always hated the "I ruin everything I touch" scene.

Robert Wagner needs a dang cameo!

My nitpick with the main animated titles was that they were so short! And there was no animation at the end of the film.
The CGI one is pretty good. It's nice and long, and actually a bit enjoyable.
But for the sequel, I still want hand drawn, and this time, slightly longer. And a cartoon panther gag at the end. The 2006 remake had a huge gaping hole left in it because of that.

It sounds like a weird retooling of "Inspector Clouseau" (1968) even though it obviously isn't.

BTW, I do believe the line "This is Inspector Clouseau, and justice will be done in the name of the law," was in fact Peter Sellers voice, and I think the line was deleted from a previous film. The voice doesn't sound like Rich Little.
