Well I hope you get a reply . The other Panther stars I thought about writing to are -Catherine Schell -Capucine - Robert Wagner - Elke Sommer - Alan Arkin again as I saw on fanmail.biz that he doesn't have any photos and I never sent a photo - Joanna Lumley - Harvey Korman. Capucine has past away. She commited suicide.

I meant this yesterday but I got my Steve Martin reply. Took just about 4 months. I'm very happy as its personalized. I thought he was great in Bowfinger, Bringing down the House, Father of the Bride I & II, The Pink Panther. He is just such a great comedic actor.

That's great Dreyfus. Did you send that picture? Hey, 4 months isn't too bad, considering what a popular actor he is.
I just got addresses for Ted Wass and Joanna Lumley. I'm going to try a first, I'm gonna send off my "Curse of the Pink Panther" dvd cover and see if they sign it and send it back. I've read many other stories about the actors/actresses doing that as long as you provide IRC etc etc. Haven't found any feedback for Ted Wass, so I'll just send him a letter and see how it works.
I'm also going to send Burt Kwouk a DVD cover and see if he sends that back signed. I've heard of similar successes around.
On a final note, I'm going to try Roger Moore as well. Won't send him anything, and his success rate isn't very high because he sells autographs on bondstars.com from which all proceeds go to unicef, but i'll try anyway..
P.S. doesnt matter if i lose the dvd covers, i'd be happy to buy the individual dvds again, they're $10

I never sent the photo to Steve Martin, so was very happy to get a reply. I've also got some photos developed to send to Joanna Lumley. I know she sends her own if you dont send one but they are from Absolutely Fabulous, and I'd rather send her a Panther one. Good luck with Sir Roger Moore, I've tried 4 times and not heard anything. He is one of my favourite Bond's so I really hope to get a reply. I've seen some successes but when eh has been on chat shows etc he just seems to be really busy with UNICEF. Happy New Year everyone!

Further to Dreyfus' comment, fanmail.biz is the best FREE source for this information, and the most reliable you can find
Here's a unorthodox tip i could suggest to track down the address of the actor/actress you want quicker rather than trying your luck at narrowing down 145 pages worth of results
go to yahoo.com and search for the name of the actor and fanmail.biz
so when you enter the text to search, for instance if you were looking for an address for burt kwouk, type this in
burt kwouk fanmail.biz
somewhere in the results you will find a direct link to the actor's page on fanmail.biz, or something close enough, whether it is a birthday listing, event information or anything from that, and usually from that page there is a direct link to view the actor's contact details
maybe this might help you ease your search

I know most people won't care who this relates to, but if you are familiar with the new American TV show "'Til Death" featuring Brad Garrett (Robert from EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND), the director is Ted Wass. Maybe this doesn't belong here, but if anyone wants to try contact him maybe here is a new way. Trying to find a set address. www.fox.com/programming/new/tildeath.htm

Ted has been jumping between quite a number of directing roles, hasn't seem to commit to anything for a period of time..
Anyway, I joined a website called stararchive, $5 membership fee a month, and I noticed that Mr Lom has been sending back signed photos, dvd covers etc that people send to him, providing there is an IRC etc. Tomorrow I'm going to send him my CurseOTPP cover.. The only one I have which has him on it clearly.. Hope for the best
Haven't heard from Benigni or Wass yet..

I posted my second herbert lom reply on the 4th of January. It took 2 months last time. I was really suprised when i found out that he will be 90 this year. I hope you get a reply from Benigni and Wass.

Yeah it took me about 2 or 3 months. Indeed, he will be 90 this year. I'm not quite sure how much of him we will see again in movies or tv shows etc, but its amazing that he still takes the time to keep in touch with the fans. It's amazing but also sad when you realise just how many of his peers have passed away over time, yet he's still going strong Don't think many people have been able to get hold of Benigni from what I've seen - the closest success I've seen is someone receiving a card signed "on behalf of Mr Benigni". As for Ted Wass, I can't even find signed photos of him on the internet for sale anywhere let alone a mail success. This man must either get around alot and not see any of the mail he gets, doesn't sign autographs, or is afraid to read it because of the backlash he might get from Clouseau for CurseOTPP

If you can't get photos of Wass you could always try taking a screenshot from a DVD. I'm always abit wary about sending DVD covers away, just in case I dont get them back, I did send my Last Crusade cover to Julian Glover which he signed though.
