I have written to Herbert Lom and Burt Kwouk. Just wondering if anyone ahd any Pink Panther related autographs. I would love to get my hands on a David Niver or Peter Sellers one.

Yeah quite a few people had successes with Burt Kwouk. I finally posted my letter off to him this morning..who knows..I'd cry with happiness and probably piss myself If i got anything from him, that guy was my hero, he is my link to the Panther movies now. Herbert Lom..I haven't heard of many successes with him in recent years. I have heard of a few in the late '90s..but I don't know any more details. To be completely honest, just beause he has gone under the radar, I thought he had passed away I wonder...has anyone met Peter Sellers though....maybe someone from an older generation of fans..who by some chance lurks around here....that would be cool to hear

well no, i haven't met any Panther-connected people, myself... if i was gonna go after autographs, i think i'd most like to have Peter Sellers', Herbert Lom's, Elke Sommer's, or Steve Martin's... Burt Kwouk's would be nice, but i'm not as big of a Cato fanatic as some others may be... i imagine Sellers' will at least cost you a pretty penny since there's obviously a limited number of those floating around anymore... Lom's is apparently obtainable, but not as easily as in years past (if ben is correct)... Sommer is still alive, but i don't know where to start with hers, so i don't know if she'll do a new one or if i'd have to try to track down an old one... i found an address for Steve Martin, but i don't know if he'll reply with an autograph, either... then apparently Kwouk's is not so difficult to get... so... if i get the time and determination to give one of these a whirl, i'll post my results... as it is, the only Panther-related autograph i own is that of Clive Owen, who cameo'd as 006 in the newest movie... Owen is one of my all-time favorite actors, and i obtained his autograph just last year... i don't typically collect autographs, but i do collect Owen-related things, so this has become the pride of that collection for me, especially since it was personalized... anyway, if i think about it, i'll post a picture of my autograph for y'all later... for some reason, it slipped my mind that it was Panther-related when i saw this thread before...

Fair enough clouseau, hey better than nothing. i've seen some of herbert's autographs on ebay, they don't go for too much compared to others..Yeah Sellers would be a fair bit..The cheapest I've found is at least $150AU, which is still pretty cheap considering his status.. and its not pre printed or anything either (i'm sure there's a catch somewhere though)..
Well i posted my letter two days ago..hopefully it's on a plane somewhere heading to the UK...gees isn't it amazing to think, how far that one letter is going to go..across to the other side of the world....that one letter has gone further than i ever will..sorry random thought lol

Well I recieved a reply from Burt Kwouk this morning, so i am very pleased. Hey, i was gonna ask, did you get a letter from him as well? Every success I've seen, people have received a handwritten letter along with that signed photo..

Thanks Dreyfus. Yeah he wrote with complements on the back of my letter. Was cool.
What do people think about that sellers autograph i got on ebay... i guess its all trust on the seller eh. i guess if its not authentic hes gonna get his ass kicked because he sure very well did a job boasting about how authentic his sales are etc
