Looks like yannick is as bad at this as Clouseau! You two boys are awful to poor old brandon! brandon, I'd say I'd help you, but I don't know how to do it, and I don't want to get your hopes up!

I've noticed a couple of episodes up on youtube so I'll watch them and see what I think. Oh, I definitely recommend checking it out! Don Adams was classic, and the whole concept of the show was great! If you like the slapstick side of the Pink Panther, you should like Get Smart, but the cool thing is that it also has a good satirical commentary going, too, so there are layers to the humor. And Barbara Feldon has some WILD outfits on that show sometimes! ;D

Interesting widget at the bottom of the page.
Pinkadilly, have you ever seen the original show?

I voted for the 1964-1969 one.

A lot of the themes are worth mentioning, yes. My favorite use within the stories, though, is when it accompanies sneaky scenes. For instance, I love the way they use it for the sneaking around scenes in The Pink Panther '63, and then there's the instance pinkailly mentioned in Return. The same applied for the short bit where Steve Martin noticed the door to his apartment was slightly open, and he's sneaking up to it to try to surprise the intruder. That type of scene always calls for the Panther theme.
I think the 2006 movie over used the theme a little, but some of the variations on how they played it did sound good, even if they weren't in the same kinds of scenes. Hopefully it won't be so prominently used in the next one, though.

I have no idea. I heard Sellers played the drums, and I think Martin plays the banjo or something. I've never heard of Martin playing the drums, though. Did Sellers ever play the banjo?

I don't know that I'm really expecting TPP2 to do better than the last one, but I'm certainly hoping it will.

According to Variety, TPP2's budget is set at $60 million. This is a drop from the estimated $80 million IMDB claims was used to make TPP06. Just curious, what do you guys think of that? Is this proof that maybe MGM isn't giving the Pink Panther series its full confidence? Or is it even necessary to have a bigger budget to make a successful film?

I'm surprised nobody's written an article comparing President Bush to Clouseau yet!
Sorry for the political commentary, but it seemed obvious to me!

I have never seen her in anything where I honestly thought she was "too sexy".
Unfortunately.
