'Pink Panther' to Stalk Blu-ray this January

In an early retailer alert, Fox/MGM has announced plans to bring the 1963 version of 'The Pink Panther' to Blu-ray.

Starring Peter Sellars as Inspector Clouseau, the Blake Edwards-directed comedy classic will debut on Blu-ray January 27.

Early tech specs will see 1080p video and a DTS-HD Lossless Master Audio 5.1 Surround track.

Fox has yet to set any supplement details for the set, but as always, watch this space.

Suggested retail price for the Blu-ray has been set at $34.95.

MGM Home Entertainment have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of The Pink Panther (Collector’s Edition) on 27th January 2009. Peter Sellers stars as the bumbling but boastful Inspector Jacques Clouseau in this film directed by Blake Edwards.
