Well I got an email saying it was dispatched yesterday so now it's just a case of waiting.
I might give the forums a little look when I've seen enough to comment 8)
Did they try and reboot the show in the 90s, cause I also noticed they were selling that? I know they did that for Mission: Impossible, although I've not seen any of it. They also had Get Smart Again which I guess was a movie version?

the original series ran from 1965-1970...
in 1980, they made a movie called The Nude Bomb, but only Don Adams as Max and Robert Karvelas as Larabee returned for that - everything else was pretty different, including the fact that Max worked for PITS instead of CONTROL...
in 1989, they made Get Smart, Again!, which was a TV movie, but it had more of the original cast back, and it felt a lot more like the old show except the production value was a little low...
in 1995, they tried a new TV series with Don Adams as Max and Barbara Feldon as 99, but now Max is the Chief, 99 is a Congresswoman, and Max's son Zach (Andy Dick) is the main agent... it only lasted 7 episodes, if i remember right...
then nothing more 'til the 2008 movies...

he wasn't completely hate-able, for once, but yeah, makes you cringe to think about a little... ...i would have liked to see them do 13 episodes or something and see where they could have taken it, but the first couple episodes weren't really much to speak of, so it's no wonder they pulled the plug because it's hard to raise your ratings after a bad start... Andy pretty much went straight from GS into Newsradio...
