i don't know where pinkadilly is, but i can sorta answer that for you, Dreyfus... the title of the cartoon is intended as a spoof on the name Goldfinger, yes, but the cartoon itself doesn't have much in common with the movie it was named for... in the Episode Guide i posted about the theatrical cartoons, i gave this description for Pinkfinger: now to kinda get things rolling with the trivia questions again, you helped me think of one: what Panther-related cartoon short made its theatrical debut attached to the James Bond adventure, Thunderball?

Is it The Pink Blueprint.
In Trail what name, location, & occupation does Clouseau tell Inspector weaver of Scotland Yard?

Is it The Pink Blueprint. In Trail what name, location, & occupation does Clouseau tell Inspector weaver of Scotland Yard? Do you mean what he tells inspector Drummond? That would be 'Henri Botot', the 'Mustard salesman' from 'Dijon'.

need a hint? the cartoon in question was not one that actually featured the Pink Panther character, though it did have something to do with a diamond...
that may be enough info to make this too easy now, i'm afraid!

here's one for you (shouldn't be too hard):
David Niven once appeared in a film that was later remade with Peter Sellers in the leading role... what was the name of the film?

I have no idea. I'll guessThe Prisoner of Zenda as there is loads of versions of it and one could star David Niven.

right you are... David Niven had a part in the 1937 production, and Peter Sellers played the starring role 40 years later...
