from long before the release of TPP06 in theaters until just shortly ago, if you entered pinkpanther.com in your browser, you were redirected to a site hosted by SonyPictures.com... well that, apparently, is no longer the case! today, when i entered the address, above, it instead redirected me to a page on MGM.com, which apparently had not been updated since long prior to the film's release... and when i visited SonyPictures.com thereafter, i noticed that TPP06's page is no longer mentioned on their site... anyway, i don't know that this actually means anything, but i thought it was interesting enough to share (obviously), and i figured it'd be a nice idea to have a thread where we can inform eachother if we notice updates to the official site, so everyone can know to go check it out when things have been added/altered...  EDIT: although the PP page is no longer mentioned on Sony's website, you can still - for the time being, at least - find it here: www.sonypictures.com/movies/thepinkpanther/ |

well at long last, MGM has taken down that hideous page at www.pinkpanther.com that forever informed us that The Pink Panther was "coming in 2006"!  now, unfortunately, it's merely a redirect to www.mgm.com... all i can say is i hope this means that a new page about the new film is at least in the works... i'll also point out that SonyPictures.com has given their Pink Panther page a new look to showcase the Special Edition DVD (a bit late, if you ask me), though as far as i can tell, there's not really anything new on the page besides a few graphics advertizing the actual DVD... you can see that here if you're interested: www.sonypictures.com/homevideo/thepinkpanther/index.html |

well at long last, MGM has taken down that hideous page at www.pinkpanther.com that forever informed us that The Pink Panther was "coming in 2006"! now, unfortunately, it's merely a redirect to www.mgm.com... That really sucks. They should do a big page with info on all the past films and "official information" about the new one, and all that! It's such a waste to own the domain name and just redirect it like that! I hate how it seems as if they don't really even care about the Panther sometimes. They say it's one of their "tentpoles", but you hardly ever see any merchandise in stores or hear anything about what's going on or anything. Granted, it's not as big as James Bond is for them, but you'd think they'd still wanna push it and make it a big earner for them. You've gotta believe there's that potential, if they would just use it! |

i'm not sure when they updated it, but i was just by the official site today... www.pinkpanther.com sends you to a SonyPictures-hosted site for The Pink Panther 2... there's not a lot there yet, but you can download a screensaver, register for updates, and peruse the international release dates... |

it's linked to from the official site, but it's not actually PART of the site, so i think i'll give it its own thread, for anyone interested... i do see that the official site has been updated a little, though, since the last time i was there, so yeah, this is a good reminder for everyone to go check it out! |

remember the pink panther penthouse party website, i know its no longer up. i wanna play the game with inspector Clouseau where he goes to the nudist colony and is searching for the pink panther diamond. if you have any info on the whereabouts of the penthouse party game please let me know.
