Hello Inspector-Fans
So, do you ever have a dream about Inspector Clouseau having his own animated series?
Would it be funny to see Cato, Dreyfus, the Phantom, and rest of them from the film as cartoon characters.

It's a cool idea. I'd rather if it was completely newly designed characters, so they weren't copies of the film characters.
Althoughit would be nice to hear Lom's Dreyfus, Kwouk as Cato and Christopher Plummer as the Phantom again...

Lom, Kwouk, and Plummer are still alive, JS... you're right, though, in the sense that they most likely wouldn't have anything to do with a new cartoon series... however, Dreyfus, if you're gonna ditch all the classic characters, then how would this be different from The Inspector??

Clouseau and the nameless Inspector are not same person, but today... we fans do now. ;D
Well for starts, The Inspector has Sgt Deux Deux and alot ugly villains (like Dick Tracy's).
Clouseau has Cato Fong, a Jeaous-evil chif Inspector, a celever and handsome theif and the Pink Panther ;D
That's about it.

The original Inspector cartoons have that huge angry guy who doesn't at all resemble Mr. Herbert Lom in the role of Dreyfus! But I still enjoy them, that's for sure.

The Inspector of the Inspector cartoons is still Inspector Clouseau. If it wasn't, he wouldn't appear in the titles to the films and he wouldn't be owned by Blake Edwards.
