i thought this might be nice to compare... by "literature" i'm thinking of books, scripts, plays, magazines, or anything along those lines... my personal collection is rather meager: "Pink Panther: The Ultimate Guide" by Jerry Beck "The Pink Panther Cocktail Party: Pink-a-licious Drinks to Seduce and Entertain" by Adam Rocke and Shag "The Pink Panther's Just Desserts" by Marc Cerasini and Alice Alfonsi i've posted reviews already in this section for the first two, but i'm only 60 pages in on The Pink Panther's Just Desserts... when i finish with it, i'll likely post a review of that, also, though thus far i can say i'm not teribly impressed... i think i would like to get the novelization of the Steve Martin Pink Panther film (by Max A. Collins), and maybe one called The Pink Panther Gets Lucky (written by the same folks who wrote Just Desserts, so i'm wary, but i think i'm still semi-willing - we'll see how the rest of Just Desserts turns out)... besides that, i don't know what i'd want, except maybe one or two biographies of Peter Sellers... i hear Mr. Strangelove is supposed to be a good read... oh, and i think i'd like to get ahold of one or both of the drafts for Romance of the Pink Panther... we'll see... what about the rest of you?

My collection consists of the scripts for the original Panther, A Shot in the Dark, Return, Strikes Again, Revenge, Romance [two drafts], Trail, Curse, Son, and the new Panther [two drafts]; novelizations of the original Panther, Return, Strikes Again, and the new Panther [three different versions]; the script book and fotonovel for Revenge, the stage plays for A Shot in the Dark and Strikes Again; the American Cinematographer issue for Revenge; Jerry Beck's excellent guide; the cute Meet the Pink Panther picture book; and the two Cerasini-Alfonsi tie-in novels.

I have a short Pink Panther story book that comes with a record. Bought it at a flea market about 15 years ago. Sorry I can't recall the name right now!

thanks for digging this up, Inspector! You're very welcome, Clouseau! Thank you for making this cool place for all us Pink Panther fans to discuss every related topic! On this forum, you've got it all covered! I think I also have a little book where the Pink Panther goes to a castle. And though it had small pages, you could color in it. If I find the books, I'll be glad to edit this post and my earlier one to include more information on both books, since I've given next to no information so far!
