I was just wondering if it would be absolutely necessary for me to buy the R2 box set, which has it on the DVD with the extras...
I haven't ever seen this 1978 documentary, but would like to. Does anyone have any info if it is obtainable anywhere outside this R2 box set? Or, is it possible to buy this DVD with extras separately from the collection, like they did with the R1 DVDs?

I ahve the R2 box set but I have still to watch a lot of the special features. I know that panthertainment is on it, I have only seen it on the R2 box set though.

i've not been able to find this program on any DVD or VHS outside this boxset yet... the only option i see for those of us unable/unwilling to buy the R2 boxset would be to find someone who has the R2 set and either borrow it or have them make a copy of the program/disc...
"The Unknown Peter Sellers" is also on the R2 bonus disc and not included in the R1 set, but that program can be bought separately on R1 DVD (i've got it, myself)... and the TWA commercials, again, were included on the R2 set, but are not available in R1... i dunno why...
moved to Pink Merchandise, since i think it fits in better there

Gosh...such a shuffle...and the German Amazon just recently released the Pink Panther Film Collection (remastered), with 7 DVDs, incl. this R2 DVD with extras and TRotPP DVD. But allegedly, it lacks many of the conveniences and bonus material that the first R2 box set had. I own "The Peter Sellers Story - As He Filmed It" DVD, which is marvelous and has great extras, incl the TWA commercials. I also own some of the rarities from his early career, so, yes, you're right Clouseau - if anyone feels up for a trade...I'd like to have That's Panthertainment.
