currently, i only have three Pink Panther-related CDs... the first CD i have is the soundtrack for the 2006 movie, which i think is excellent... Christophe Beck did a fantastic job, IMO... the second CD is one i picked up just today, called "The Pink Panther and Other Famous Spy Themes" by The Groove Machine... i don't really recommend it, because it just doesn't have the punch of the original recordings for any of the songs on it, but it was at least semi-interesting to hear once... it was only $5.88 at Wal Mart, so what the heck... my third CD is more like a single... it came with my book, "Pink Panther Cocktail Party" (which my wife bought me for my birthday), and it's an advertisement, really, for the CD titled "Pink Panther's Penthouse Party"... it has the original theme by Henry Mancini, and then it has the "Malibu remix" of the theme... i didn't think i'd like it very much, but the single was pretty cool, so now i'm thinking of buying that Penthouse Party CD... what about the rest of you?

I only have The Ultimate Pink Panther. I love the Hong Kong fireworks, I actually noticed they used that in Family Guy when Peter and the family are being chased through China Town.

i've just recently received The Pink Panther and The Return of the Pink Panther, which contains the soundtracks to both films from the original series... contrary to the listing on Amazon, the tracks are all on one single CD, rather than spread over 2 CDs... the first 12 tracks are from TPP63, and the remaining 13 tracks are from RetOTPP... i have to say that my favorite track on the CD (excluding the original Pink Panther theme, which appears twice), is #18, "The Return of the Pink Panther, Pts 1 & 2"... it's the track that plays during Return, when the theif is breaking into (and out of) the museum to steal the Pink Panther diamond... very cool...

Like Dreyfuß, i've only got "The Ultimate Pink Panther". I like the CD very much because the highlights are definitly in it (A shot in the dark, Inspector Clouseau Theme, of course PP Theme, and so on) but I was very dissapointed that "Shadows of Paris" wasn't the Original by Fran Jeffries.
