“People have been restless all day long,” Craig said. “They got so bored that around sunset people started running around all over the place.” Residents from both Noelani and Wainani were on the terraces throwing toilet paper, a beer bottle fell and fireworks.
But it did not appear to all as chaos. Senior Matt Morici was bobbing his head to the rhythmic pounding of a drum and a saxophone was playing Pink Panther on the top southern end of Noelani.
“It’s awesome, I love it,” Morici said. The power is out and the people just wanted to have a good time. “It’s like we’re free. How can they stop this?”
