i've been thinking about getting a Peter Sellers biography to read, but i don't know which one(s) to choose... i have a feeling ben would highly recommend Mr. Strangelove, but i'm not sure about the others, and there seem to be several out there... can anyone share their thoughts about any of these? - Peter Sellers: The Authorized Biography by Alexander Walker
- Peter Sellers by Michael Starr
- Peter Sellers: A Celebration by Adrian Rigelsford
- Peter Sellers: A Life in Character by Adrian Rigelsford
- P.S. I Love You: An Intimate Portrait of Peter Sellers by Michael Sellers
or are there any i've forgotten that would be better?? i know Graham Stark also wrote a book called Remembering Peter Sellers, but even a used copy of that will cost me over $60, so i can't practically afford that right now... i also didn't bother to list The Life and Death of Peter Sellers, since so many people have already railed against it here... so what do you think? can anyone point me in a good direction??

To be honet I've not read any of the biographies. I feel I should as a big fan but I am not sure which to get as well. The only to biographies I've read are Christopher Lee's Lord of Misrule and Roger Moore: His films and career. I was interested in reading David Nivens also.

Hello to all @ this great board! (I already feel welcome) Regarding books, my warm recommendation would be either Graham Stark. And there's no need for you to pay 60 bucks for it, you can order it much, much cheaper from Alibris.Ed Sikov recently wrote a biography called "Mr. Strangelove", which is decent. I read Starr's book also, but it's not in the same league, nor does it have much about PS. It's more of a movie diary, most of which, one can notice, he didn't see. Other one that has wonderful photos and is a sort of assembly of recollections by his family and friends is "Sellers on Sellers" by his late son Michael. Other books I still haven't checked.

I'd also reccommend Graham Stark's book, too... Best Sellers biography I read so far. Haven't read his son's book, though...
