Geoffrey Rush portrayed Peter Sellers in this docudrama...
i haven't seen it yet, myself, but i'm considering buying a copy to watch it for myself, and i've heard mixed reviews on it... i was just wondering if anyone here had seen it yet and could share their thoughts on whether or not it might be worth my money...
i have a feeling i'll get it soon no matter what, but i just would like to know what y'all thought...

well i received my copy today and gave it a look... it's interesting... Geoffrey Rush did a pretty good job as Sellers... as a matter of fact, the acting all around seemed to be pretty good...
the story itself was well done... a bit hard to follow at times, but it was all told in a very interesting way... i knew a little about the events of Sellers' life, but it helps to draw them all together into one flowing story... plus there was a lot i didn't know...
all-in-all, i'd say if you're a fan of Peter Sellers, this is definitely worth watching, but if you're only really a fan of the Pink Panther, you might not care for it too much... the Panther-related bits are good, but Sellers didn't hold a high opinion of the films, and that shows... also, the majority of the film is a drama, rather than a comedy (though there are plenty of funny moments thrown in here and there...

Yeah I saw the tail end of it years ago and thought it did a good job.
Rush really did an accurate portrayal of Sellers.
At the time, I thought he'd be a prime candidate to revive the PP series.
Never once did I think of Steve Marin...
