I am really looking forward to this. I hope Jean Reno and Kevin Kline return also.
I dont think Xania will return though.
Does anybody think any actors/actresses would be a good choice for rolls in the sequel?

i'm not sure... i'd be interested to see a sequel, but i'm not really even sure where the story can go this time... supposing they do another, though, i'm sure Kline will be back, but i'm not sure about Reno... he could be like the equivolent of Hercule from ASITD, where he did a great job, but he wasn't really involved much after that one film...
who knows?

I really hope they make a sequel.
To me, just one new film doesn't make sense. Turn it into a new series!
But what if Steve Martin doesn't want to participate? Who should be the next Clouseau in the event he drops out? Should they even make another movie if he drops out?

if, for some unforseen reason, Martin is unable to do another, i think maybe they should let it rest for a while before trying again... however, that said, Martin has said in interviews and articles before that he would welcome the idea of doing another Pink Panther movie if this one did well enough... now despite a lot of negative reviews, his first PP film did make a considerable amount at the box office, and as i noted in the News section, MGM has announced that they're planning a sequel, so i don't think we have anything to worry about right now... if they decided to go with someone else as Clouseau, though, i honestly don't know who would be good for it... i mean, it's just such a difficult part to cast, IMO! perhaps even more difficult than choosing someone to play James Bond!

Is Graham Stark still around (Hercule, Dr Balls, more)? I would love to see him in another. His eye rolls when Clouseau is lecturing him in ASITD are classic.

Maybe they will add the Phantom into the new PP film.

I do think we'll be getting something closer to the classic series this time than we did with Mr. Martin's first outing. We'll have a better idea when test screenings begin next year.
