which PP film is your least favorite of the series??
for me, it's gonna come down to a choice between IC, TotPP, CotPP, and SotPP... each of those has a lot that i don't like, but each also has something that i do like, so i'm gonna have to wait a while before i make up my mind and cast my vote...
what about the rest of you??

Trail of the Pink Panther: Its not that I did not like it. It's just not my favourite. Probably because they reused a lot of the material.

It comes down to TOTPP and the 2006 movie.
I think I'll vote for Trail because....it was just bad. Couldn't they just let Sellers rest in peace? His wife sued Blake Edwards for it, didn't she?
If she did, then rightly so.

alright, i'm going with Inspector Clouseau (1968)... Trail is pretty bad, but it still has some fresh Sellers stuff that i liked a lot (for instance, the stuff on the plane)... Curse is bad, but Roger Moore's cameo and the ending with David Niven are pretty good... Son is the one that came closest to beating IC, but it's hard to put my finger on it, but i just like certain aspects of it... IC has its few brief laughs, but for the most part, i just can't stand Arkin as Clouseau, and the total absense of Dreyfus and the like just makes it worse... IC it is, then!

yeah probably that "Inspector Clouseau" movie, because it doesn't have the classic lineup and is too different. "Trail" might be pieced together and whatever but it is nice in a nostalgic kind of way, I get sad watching it though because it sinks in that there can never be another Inspector Clouseau, another Peter Sellers ever again. That film for me is like a personal eulogy. It really makes me sad, especially the end.

Hmm, Curse of the Pink Panther. I didn't like Clifton Sleigh, and most of the film felt very depressing to me. It really brought home the fact that Peter Sellers had died, and his Inspector Clouseau had died with him.

I went with Curse of the Pink Panther. Roger Moore was funny, but everything else was crap.

I voted for THE PINK PANTHER (2006). I'm still very much looking forward to the sequel despite this fact.
