i don't mean necessarily where you were in the same situation that Clouseau was in in one of the films (though that would count!), but what i mean is, like, every once in a while, i do something a little clumsy, and in trying to save myself, i just keep making it worse! for instance, a few weeks ago, i went out to the foyer in our house, because the Internet wasn't working, and that's where we keep the cable modems (there are 4 or 5, believe it or not!)... well they're all linked together, and in order to cycle them, you have to unplug each one of them, and then plug them back in one at a time, allowing time for each one to "boot up" or whatever... when i went to unplug the last one, i dropped the power cord, and because the modems were on this shelf, the cord went down behind the shelf, and on down behind a desk... now the desk is rarely used, and it has pots and pans and things stacked on top of it and beside it... so i went to reach for the cord, and in so doing, i dropped all the other cords... so now i'm on hands and knees beneath the desk, trying to pick up all the cords, and i beumped my head on the desk, and the pans started falling off the desk, so i'm scrambling around, trying to catch the pans and avoid major injury! i finally ended up taking all the pots off the desk and stacking them in the floor before i got back under the desk and retreived the cords... then when i went to plug them back in, it turned out that cycling the modems didn't even fix the problem with the Internet afterall! i finally gave up on the modems, and as i turned to walk back out of the foyer, what happened?? that's right, i tripped over the stack of pots and went stumbling to the floor! has anyone else had an episode like that?? believe it or not, that's not the first (nor was it the last, even since then) "Clouseau moment" for me! perhaps i've been watching the movies too many times!

Only once. I can't remember which film Clouseau does this in, but a few years ago I ripped my trousers when I left my flat key (on a chain) in the door........

Haha, I'm always being a Clouseau, at work, at home, tripping, making things worse than better, doing things the wrong way, something going wrong in the middle of a group conversation and me desperately trying to fix it up while not attracting attention
In fact I had so many ideas for potential things Clouseau could do that I'm incorporating them into this film script I am working on as a hobby (Not a full out film script, rather probably just a novelization of a movie in my head) lol
Seriously, for instance there was the one time at work, there was a paper jam on the printer, and i was desperately trying to find the source of the problem and sort it out, but then my tie got stuck in the paper tray and i was trying to get it out, and then one of the other office administrators came past and she dropped her keys and i leant down to pick them up and my tie was still caught in the printer and i ripped the printer out of the power outlet and almost sent it flying to my head.. a whole lot of paper did spill out of the tray though haha
and another time a group of us were sitting in the service department (i work for a computer company) and we were sitting in a circle talking about the weekend (it was almost time to leave on friday afternoon), and i was propped up on the desk having a drink and i was so caught up on the conversation i realised i spilt some of the coke on the table and it was leaking onto the floor so i bent over trying to mop it up so it wouldnt short circut the computer nearby, so i was hanging off the table and the person sitting in front of me who i was trying not to disturb turned around suddenly and hit me in the head with his elbow and i fell onto the ground
im serious, im such a nervous wreck all the time, its not intentional
maybe i should star as clouseau lol

a couple weeks ago, we were sitting in my in-laws' kitchen playing a card game, and it was kinda stuffy, so i decided to turn on a fan... well the fan wasn't plugged in, so i followed the cord to the wall, but there was a folding table folded up and propped against the wall, and there were metal folding chairs and the centerpieces for the kitchen table all propped against the folding table... there was also a large clock on the wall above the table (like a cuckoo clock, only not, if you know what i'm saying)... well i thought i could move the table just enough to get to the cord and plug it in without having to move everything that was propped against the table... i scooted the table just a little, and everything was fine, but i couldn't get my arm in yet, so i scooted it a little further... everything still seemed fine, so i stuck my arm down in the gap and grabbed the cord on the floor... apparently i grabbed the wrong cord, because when i tugged on it to get enough length to plug it into the wall, something on the china cabinet at the end of the table started to fall... i saw it going, so i reached to get it, but my arm was stuck behind the table, and i didn't make it in time... then the chairs started to slip, so i'm trying to catch everything with one hand while my arm's stuck against the wall, and i must say, i caught a couple of the chairs, but i didn't catch most of them! still wanting to plug in the fan, though, i held on to the chairs and used leverage to pull the table back off my arm a little... i grabbed the right cord and plugged it into the wall... then i put the chairs down and pulled my arm out from behind the table, but as i stood up to back away from the situation, what'd i do?? yep, i hit my head on the clock (which had a wooden frame), and would have sent it crashing to the floor if my mother-in-law hadn't been right there to catch it! ;D

That's hilarious Clouseau, I could almost picture it like a Sequence in front of my eyes. Ah I think we have all inherited the nature of the mighty Inspector Clouseau..he is a part of us all......in particular hah
