as noted in the calendar, today - July 24, 2006 - marks 26 years since our beloved Peter Sellers died of a heart attack at age 55... i thought this track from Christophe Beck's score to The Pink Panther (2006) was very fitting to share today... CLICK HERE ...this is the track i'll be listening to as i surf the forums here today, anyway... to Peter: thank you for all the times you've made us smile and laugh... know that you are loved and missed by many... RIP

To Mr Sellers,
Thank you is just not enough.
Regards, Ben.
RIP Peter Sellers. He always makes me happy. I wish I was there to experience him in his prime while he was still alive. It makes me sad to realise such a beautiful man is no longer here to fill the world with joy. He has filled my life with utmost joy. He always will until the day I die. And after. Inspector Clouseau has been in my life for as long as I remember and he will never die for me. This sounds so ridiculous but he is like my uncle, that is how close he is in my life. There is only one Inspector Clouseau. There is only one Peter Sellers.

someone recently sent me this link, and i thought it worth sharing with the community... www.findadeath.com/Deceased/s/Sellers/Peter.htmit's an interesting read, and it includes links to view Peter's death certificate and tombstone, and it has a video about his funeral (though it's worth pointing out that they bumbled a bit by saying that 'In the Mood' was his favorite tune... he did request it to be played at his funeral, but the joke was on the funeral-goers, because in reality, he hated that song!)...
