The Pink Panther Strikes Again, wasn't it?
if i'm not right, then disregard, but if i'm right, here's the next one:
a bit obscure, but: Blake Edwards - PP director - married Julie Andrews, but someone else who worked on one of the Pink Panther filims was responsible for introducing Edwards to Andrews in the first place... my question, then, is a three-parter: who is this mystery man, on which Panther film did he work, and in what capacity did he work on said Panther film?

I'm guessing Christopher Plummer, he worked with Julie Andrews on the sound of music then worked with Blake Edwards in Return of the Pink Panther.

i imagine, then, that you're looking for The Return of the Pink Panther, right?
incidentally, IMDB says that both Return AND Strikes Again had trailers full of bloopers like that...
as for mine, here's a hint:
the person in question had worked with Blake Edwards in multiple non-Panther films prior to ever working with him on a Panther film...

no, not really...
here's another hint: while this person worked on a Panther film, he did not appear on screen in said Panther film - he served in some other capacity - although he did both appear on screen and serve in other capacities on others of Edwards' films...
does that help???
