i won't cheat and look at IMDB - i'll just see if my memory is in as good a shape as i think it is - and i'll guess the answer is Blake Edwards and his son, Geoffrey Edwards... am i right? if i am, since i don't know when i'll be on next time, i'll relinquish my right to choose the next question, and i'll leave it open for you or someone else to continue with the next one... if i'm wrong, well then it doesn't much matter if i'll be back soon or not, does it?!

You are correct Clouseau. If anyone wants to step in with a question?

What is the connection between Herbert Lom and the recently assassinated Prime Minister Bhutto of Pakistan?

alright, well the answer, as i said, is something a bit obscure... as it turns out, apparently, Lom's wife was friends with PM Bhutto, and in 1986, when Bhutto went to have a portrait done in London, Mrs. Lom accompanied her to make sure her hair and makeup and clothing were in order... sourcesomeone else wanna go?

that's a good one! i've read the novel before, but i actually don't remember any reference like this... when the answer is finally revealed, i hope you'll give me a chapter/scene reference so i can go find it and see for myself... i don't wanna cheat and go looking for it in my copy of the novel before it's revealed here, but i wanna take a guess... was it.........David Niven?

Very sharp, Clouseau I can't remember the chapter but he's referred to as the only real gentleman in Hollywood.
