I'm going to go with TPP06, I was tempted with TPP2 like Clouseau with the Lily Tomlin scenes. And I think the Cleese scenes were great in TPP2, but aside from that there's nothing else I could really think of. So it goes to TPP06 I'd say.

tonight, i watched Peter Sellers in Trial and Error (The Dock Brief)... it was interesting, though very tame compared to so many of Sellers' other films... nice to see him in something i hadn't seen before, though... That's the first I've heard of this film. Good cast though - Peter Sellers, Richard Attenborough and Beryl Reid. Last movie I watched was Bullet to Beijing, one of the later Harry Palmer films, this one had an appearance from Burt Kwouk, which was an unexpected treat.

i've never seen a single episode of 30 Rock, believe it or not... whenever i hear the title, though, i think of 3rd Rock from the Sun, which i always thought was hilarious... I love 30 Rock but it's not too everyone's taste. It's a bit Arrested Development-ish. I love 3rd Rock as well, Dick was my favourite, I loved Mary as well. Oh I miss that show

Well happy belated Birthday to Clouseau. I've not been on the forum for a few days, so I missed it. Hope it was a good day.

30 Rock - TV show, but it did have Steve Martin in it as a supposed germaphobic billionaire. Entertaining stuff.

It's looking quite entertaining so far. Clouseau is looking spot on.

Watched The Out of Towners - nice comedy starring Steve Martin, Goldie Hawn and John Cleese. Cleese is particularly hillarious as a cross-dressing hotel manager.

I blame my friends, they have a completely different movie taste to me so I'm normally outvoted I'll try and drag my dad along to see Duplicity quite soon hopefully.

Tbh I didn't find the trailer overly funny but I did still want to see it for the cast and the whole ex-spy idea, which sounded interesting. But I think I'll just wait for the DVD. I was originally meant to see it last night but saw Knowing instead (unfortunately).

I think they'd loose a lot of fans at that point, me included. I'd like there to be a PP3. I was thinking about the idea of them re-casting Clouseau, but I think people have now accepted Martin in the role - so I doubt thats much of a possibility.

The International starring Clive Owen, it was fairly average. I thought it was Duplicity, so was a bit dissapointed when I realised it wasn't. heh, guess that's what happens when the lead actor is in two films released within just over a month of each other... doesn't help that they're advertising Duplicity 4 times an hour on every TV station 3 weeks before it's even coming out! i've seen a lot of mixed feelings over The International... normally i'd have seen it opening weekend, but i knew Duplicity was coming, and it looks like the more interesting of the two to me, so i'm saving a little cash and waiting for Duplicity for now (though i may break down and see The International before too long, if i can't stand it)... will you still be going to see Duplicity now? I'll definitely see Duplicity, although the prospect of Julia Roberts being in it, is a big negative for me. The International was a thriller about 'European Banking' and if I'd looked into it before I saw it, I would have stayed away. Owen is still good though but Naomi Watts character is really forced and doesn't really gel with the film. Maybe it's one for you to rent seen as you're a big Clive Owen fan.

Very tough question as I liked both, but since we really didn't get to see too much of Cleese as Dreyfus, I'll say Kline.

Ah well, I'll pick up the DVD when it's released, and have a looky in the deleted scenes (hoping we get some)
