You're very welcome Clouseau! Thanks for your feedback! I was most surprised to see "What A Fool Believes" on an album with "Punk" in the title! You are right about their Clouseau, and the pointless "Pink Panther Punk Pink Panther" vocals on the Pink Panther Theme. With the songs Clouseau wasn't on, I was thinking, "What does this have to do with the Pink Panther?" And then I remembered, "Oh yeah, he's on drums. They said that early on." I'm going to put "It's Punk" on a mix CD for a party one day - in the middle of "normal" songs See if anyone notices.

Very good idea - those are some good hearted folks there! Instead of leaving off the ribbon and getting attention anyway, they chose to do a good thing and try to help people. Bravo!

I'll have to think about my favorite!
When I was younger, the Pink Panther was on TNT, and now it's on Boomerang...I mention this because:
While both channels always played the Inspector, as well as The Ant and the Aardvark, neither of them played the Dogfather (so I've still never seen it, I only know him and his gang from the 1990's Pink Panther show) only TNT played Hoot Kloot, Roland Rattfink, and only Boomerang plays Blue Racer, Crazylegs Crane, Tijuana/Texas Toads, and MisterJaw. I wonder what that's all about?
Back then I didn't know the cartoons in the second category, so when a Pink Panther VHS I purchased came with a Mister Jaw figure, I didn't really know what connection it had with the Pink Panther (but it was still cool, and I was quite amused by the seemingly randomness of it). He wasn't on the VHS, either.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink_Panther_and_Pals This link has an episode guide (18 episodes) and mentions how it premiered on Cartoon Network on March 7, 2010 at 7:30am in the US but on July 19, 2010 it moved to Boomerang and is now shown weekday mornings at 7am. I suggest everyone sets their VCRs (or whatever technology they have/prefer) if they want to see it, because it must be on it's way out, since it's on not Cartoon Network anymore but on Boomerang, where the old cartoons go. What a short run! A few thoughts: This show should be on at a decent hour. They could play it twice a day instead of just 7am! They could even play it after the original Pink Panther show; it wouldn't be too much Panther -after all, they play so much Scooby Doo and no one complains. As I said, it's pretty true to the originals in many ways, so there's no reason us adults can't enjoy it too. I think the cause of it's downfall was putting it on so early (so no one even knows about it) plus the delay in it's premiere, and of course, giving it almost no promotion of any kind. Even the ad I mentioned earlier - I only saw it once. By the way, it turns out that the site that told me John Byner reprised his role as the aardvark was incorrect.

As someone who LOVES the early 90's Pink Panther cartoon show, I still liked today's episode of the new series for the 2010's. It's more like the 60's ones (which you can't go wrong with either!) and the only big difference is that Kel Mitchell is the ant's voice now, though John Byner still does the aarvarks voice. Kel's a talented guy, and he did a great job! Still, I wonder why didn't Mr. Byner do the aardvark's voice too, like the old days - but that's not a swipe at Kel, it's just that John was the original ant - classic voice! But at least he's on board as the aardvark. Ran out of tape, but got the first 2 parts. A website said there's 2 Pink Panther cartoons and one Ant and Aardvark cartoon in between in every episode. I guess that means no inspector, contrary to that one pic we had for this show for a year or so... Long story short: Despite being made more recently, it's good classic Pink Panther fun!

thanks for digging this up, Inspector! You're very welcome, Clouseau! Thank you for making this cool place for all us Pink Panther fans to discuss every related topic! On this forum, you've got it all covered! I think I also have a little book where the Pink Panther goes to a castle. And though it had small pages, you could color in it. If I find the books, I'll be glad to edit this post and my earlier one to include more information on both books, since I've given next to no information so far!

I don't know if there will be a third installment for the PP06 series. But while I never had a problem with Steve Martin being the star of a Pink Panther film, I initially wanted PP06 to be a sequel to the original series, with Steve as someone other than Clouseau. I thought, "Feed me any crazy story about why he's the main character, and I'll buy it - just not Clouseau."
But without Herbert Lom and Burt Kwouk, and without Blake Edwards directing, I figured it was just as well that Steve Martin was Clouseau. I thought it was sad to lose those three, but I also thought maybe Steve could be second best to Peter Sellers - which would still be quite an accomplishment!
I went in the theatre with the lowest expectations, and up to the part where he tries to park the car and keeps crashing, I thought I made a big mistake going to see it. But soon I was enjoing it, and when it ended, I was glad I went!
Then I saw it sometime later, all the way through (since I recalled how much I enjoyed it) - and that second time I thought it was a big waste. And that has never happened to me before with a film! So I don't know - maybe I'll try again. But as I said in another post, I haven't seen the sequel yet.
But while I'm undecided now, I know either way I respect Steve Martin for originally saying no to being involved, and also for eventually deciding to do these films and keep Clouseau alive. And I feel he made both decisions out of respect for Peter Sellers and the Pink Panther body of work.

Glad he's okay - he did a great job in PP06. I didn't see the sequel yet.
