several songs have been featured in Pink Panther films but have not been included (or at least not in the version used for the films) in the official soundtracks... so i thought it might be useful to list here any songs that fit into that category... here's what i've come up with so far...
Fran Jeffries - Meglio Stasera - TPP63 Fran Jeffries - The Shadows of Paris - ASITD Yello - The Race - TPP06 Beyonce - A Woman Like Me - TPP06 Beyonce - Check On It - TPP06
all of the ones from TPP06 can be found elsewhere, but the Jeffries songs are much harder to find, if you can find them at all...
i guess we could also include the song Thank Heaven for Little Girls, which Clouseau sang in the early part of RevOTPP (if i recall), but that song's been recorded by a handful of people, and none of them were really featured in the film...
what others are there?

On the UK Ultimate Pink Panther CD it Includes Thank Heaven for Little Girls. I'm not a big fan of it though.

I'm not a big fan of it though. who sings it on the CD? i came across a clip of Sellers singing it on PeterSellers.org, if i remember correctly, but i just assumed it was copied off the movie, rather than being a soundtrack recording, and i don't think i even listened to the whole track...

"The Shadows of Paris" (as I have now found out) wasn't released on CD for contractual reasons (whatever the hell that means), and the chances are the recording has since been lost.

I'm not actually sure about the THFLG it sounds ok, I also have the Shadow of Paris. If anyone wants it just PM me and I can stick them up on You send it or email them. I may not reply for a few weeks though as I'm going away.

the version of Shadows on the CD is with a group singing, though, isn't it? i mean, it's not the Fran Jeffries version...

Yes, it's a group. And they're not at all suited to that style of song.

I'm not a fan of The Shadow of Paris so I've never listened to it on the CD, I know its there though.

another song i thought of that's not included on the soundtracks is the song that plays in TPP06 when Clouseau is in NYC, when he eats the hamburger... i think that was "Get Real" by Zetta Bytes, but i'm not sure... it was mentioned in the director's commentary, i remember, so i guess i'll have to check out my DVD again to double-check about that song...

did anyone ever find out whose version of Thank Heaven for Little Girls is on the Ultimate CD?? i did notice that that song's on the US version, too, but as i don't own it, i still am not of much use for answering things like that...

Yeah I've been trying to find it. I think it was "Got To Be Real" by Cheryl Lynn.

HA! using my brain, for once, i went to Amazon, and i used the little sample clips it provides for certain CDs, and i determined that the version of THFLG on the Ultimate CD is the same version i heard on PeterSellers.org (though it doesn't seem to be available there anymore)... and then i found out that this same identical track also appeared on the soundtrack CD for Revenge of the Pink Panther... and while the Ultimate CD's listings didn't mention who was responsible for that track, the listings for the RevOTPP soundtrack DID! according to that listing on Amazon, THFLG is sung by... *drum roll* "'Inspector Clouseau' w/ The Surete Brass Band"
