Kato/Cato appeared in seven Panther films over 30 years, and the character and his presentation seemed to evolve with every new appearance... which film has your favorite single scene featuring Cato??
i'm gonna have to consider this a bit more, myself, before casting my vote...

Ho ho, look at that - TRetOTPP has 100 percent of the vote! ;D Yes, well, that's because I'm the only one who's voted thus far - come on, everybody, get voting! I had to go for Return because of the ridiculous but terrific 'Cato scene' in which he and Clouseau manage to utterly destroy many a household fixture - mostly with the handy and utterly hilarious aid of major slo-mo (so much so, Clouseau's deep, deep, slow voice can be banally but brilliantly heard over the top of all the chaos). It's easily one of the funniest scenes in the entire series - and even its repetition at the end in the Chinese restaurant doesn't lessen the impact of its hilarity - the trick, in this case, does work twice. Genius, sheer genius!

well i've voted for Son of the Pink Panther... as much as i enjoyed his scenes in earlier films, the moment where he comes out of the fridge in disguise just cracks me up every time! and i must say i liked a lot of his other scenes in that film... for all that's wrong with that movie, Cato is a definite highlight!

I don't know. It's hard to say. I love them all they have their own merits. I'll have to go with "Strikes Again" though because that was the first PP movie I saw and is still a classic for me

Anyway I've changed my mind on this one. Return of the Pink Panther in the restaurant where Cato is dressed as the waitress and attacks Clouseau. Hercule tries to punch a man but forgets his arm is in a cast. Clouseau dives into the kitchen missing Cato crashing into the plates So I do completely agree with Cato on this one
