Hello. You may or may not be aware that I had been in the process of creating a Pink Panther fan webpage. At present this project is on a short hiatus until I can dedicate more time to gather more details and consider how I'm going to approach the website, because there's about a thousand other Pink Panther websites out there. Anyway, I have revisited my long considered idea of a Herbert Lom fan website on the Internet purely dedicated to his work, rather than a section of a Pink Panther website or a wikipedia article etc. I am pleased to announce the general website is now online. There is still alot more information to come and alot more sections, but I hope you may bookmark it and refer to it in the future and provide your feedback. It is simple, but I hope it may be appreciated as a humble dedication to this fine actor. www.geocities.com/herbertlomfanI have also provided a direct link to this board on the main page. Thanks for your interest. Regards, Ben

looks pretty good, ben... good luck with it!
btw, the image you have at the top of your news and updates page does not load for me... i think it's because you've linked to an image on IMDB, and IMDB somehow blocks folks from hotlinking their photos... just wanted to give you the heads-up...
Cheers!

Thatas a great idea. It's very good and look forward to reading more about Lom on your site. I'd love it if he was to write an autobiography. What a career, almost 70 years. Nice site ben.
Also on the subject of Herbert Lom does anyone know what happened with him and the US embassy? as I was reading this quote on IMDB:
Was he going to get deported? Also is his second wife still alive?

Thank you for your kind feedback. Yes Clouseau the photos you saw on the website are hotlinked which is why some of them may be blocked, but I am in the process of copying those files to the website. There's alot more to come. Thanks.
Haven't heard anything about that IMDB quote; I didn't even know he had children.

i believe Lom was speaking of Sellers' children in that quote - Michael and Victoria... Michael, Victoria AND Sarah . But I think he talked about his own children, see: 'I have been hurt by my children' That must mean he meant his children, and I know he's been married a few times.

Mr. Lom is long overdue for a tribute site, but sadly the site is gone now
