well i'm with you on TMWTGG, DAF, and YOLT, but i'm not a big fan of AVTAK or NSNA, and i do very much love FRWL... to each his own, i guess... but anyway, the latest Panther-related film for me was The Rich Man's Wife, just this afternoon, starring Clive Owen... Owen is one of those actors that i can watch in almost any role, and i just never get sick of him!

Yeah I've noticed that you seem a big Clive Owen fan. Are you dissapointed that he never got the role of Bond?
Also did you see Children of Men? I thought it was fantastic.

i was a little disappointed Owen didn't get it, yes, but i think Daniel Craig is doing a fine-enough job... if Owen had gotten it, CR would have been a very different film, that's sure!
as for Children of Men, no, i haven't seen it yet! it's very frustrating to me, too, because the only reason i haven't seen it is it just never came to my local theater! the DVD will be out this month, though, so i'll be sure to pick it up as soon as possible!

Thats strange as well as usually American R1 releases are months ahead of Europena R releases. I think Michael Caine steals the film though.

just rewatched Being There a couple days ago... i liked it the first time i saw it, but it's grown on me a little more with each subsequent viewing, i think... it's at least quite unique...

tonight i finally got to see Clive Owen in Children of Men... i've only been waiting for what seems like forever to see it, since they pushed the US theatrical release back so far and then my local theater never even carried it! i have to say there were certain elements i really liked - the cinematography, for one, was excellent! - but there were also things i didn't care for (such as the ending)... overall, i'm very glad to finally have seen it, though, and glad to add it to my collection! 8)

just re-watched Murder By Death tonight... it's growing on me, i must admit... i've never been fond of the closing shots, though, of the murderer after everyone's left the house... that final scene's just weird!

Strange ones to watch for you. Do you like them any more than the first few viewings?

i'd say yes, i like them both better than i did the first time i saw them, but that still doesn't mean they're favorites, or even that i would rank them any higher in comparison to the other Panther films... if that makes sense...
