I blame my friends, they have a completely different movie taste to me so I'm normally outvoted I'll try and drag my dad along to see Duplicity quite soon hopefully.

Watched The Out of Towners - nice comedy starring Steve Martin, Goldie Hawn and John Cleese. Cleese is particularly hillarious as a cross-dressing hotel manager.

i think i have that one on VHS somewhere... it's passable, but you're right, it's not the gem The Out-of-Towners was...

30 Rock - TV show, but it did have Steve Martin in it as a supposed germaphobic billionaire. Entertaining stuff.

i've never seen a single episode of 30 Rock, believe it or not...
whenever i hear the title, though, i think of 3rd Rock from the Sun, which i always thought was hilarious...

I love 30 Rock but it's not too everyone's taste. It's a bit Arrested Development-ish. I love 3rd Rock as well, Dick was my favourite, I loved Mary as well. Oh I miss that show

i was always a big Harry fan... anyway, last night, i finally got around to seeing The International... not the greatest, but it wasn't horrible, either... i do think i made the right choice when i waited to catch it on DVD and opted to see Duplicity first...

last night, i watched The Pink Panther 2... i still like the '06 film better than this one, but it was good to see again, and it was better than i remembered...
RANDOM OBSERVATION: the 3D effect of the title sequence was a little better on the movie theater big screen - the whole film was one that i think at least looked good in theaters - but i like how all the colors really popped on my big LCD TV, too... the colors stood out to me more at home than they did in the theater...

tonight, i watched Peter Sellers in Trial and Error (The Dock Brief)... it was interesting, though very tame compared to so many of Sellers' other films... nice to see him in something i hadn't seen before, though...

That's the first I've heard of this film. Good cast though - Peter Sellers, Richard Attenborough and Beryl Reid. Last movie I watched was Bullet to Beijing, one of the later Harry Palmer films, this one had an appearance from Burt Kwouk, which was an unexpected treat.

i dunno why, but i had a hankerin' last night, so i popped in Pink Panther 2 and gave it another view... i still say it's not as good as several others in the franchise, but it's growing on me...
