i'll get the ball rolling here... things you might not learn from my profile: - i created this forum (so if you have problems/questions/suggestions, feel free to PM me about them!)
- i have over 500 titles in my DVD collection, covering a wide range of genres
- i have lived in Kentucky (most of my life), Louisiana (2 years when i was very young), and Delaware (3 years), and i have travelled to Canada (once) and Northern Ireland (twice) - i've just recently moved BACK to Kentucky!
- i am married to a lovely, understanding woman who puts up with my many movie-related passions as much as humanly possible (and sometimes more than i think possible!), but i have no kids as of yet, though i look forward to someday fatherhood!
- i play the guitar, piano, and drums; i sing; i write my own music; i was in a rock band in college; and i have often performed accoustic shows, both solo and with groups
- i am a member of both MI6 forums and MurphsPlace forums
- my favorite breakfast cereal is Cocoa Crispies or Count Chocula, either one, though - truth be told - i don't usually eat breakfast
- i love M&Ms: plain, peanut, almond, peanut butter - it's all good!
what about the rest of you??

- I live and go to school in Edinburgh, Scotland. - My favourite type of film is either a comedy or horror, I do like a good thriller though. - My favourite actors/actresses are Harrison Ford, Sam Neill, Christopher Walken, Peter Sellers and Siggourney Weaver. Oh and Roger Moore. - I am also a member of MI6 forums and am known as Max-Zorin (after my favourite Bond villian) - I collect autographs so far I have the 5 Bonds - Lazenby, Moore, Brosnan, Dalton and Connery (These are sadly pre-prints though). - I usually go on Holiday to the US. - I have just about 200 films in my DVD collection.

EDIT: well i've at least modified the smiley list somewhat (changes can only be seen if you're using the "Therapeutic Pink" skin to view the forum) so hopefully this temporary fix will help... if someone has an idea how to further improve our list, you can PM me or make a note down in the Pink Proposals... ;D

Well, my name is Justin, better known as Mi6er SportzStooge007!
I go to High School in New York, and I'm a huge film and music fan! I play the trumpet and love writing.
My life goal is to one day is to become to the official scriptwriter for Bond films, although my dream is farfetched.
I do have more realistic dreams, though I don't feel like writing them.
A lot of Mi6ers here! I love the Pink Panther, and have been a fan for many years, long before I became a Bond fan! This goes back to seeing the PP cartoon reruns on Cartoon Network in the early 90s!

Well, I have worked for the BBC for seven years (doing bits and pieces, at the moment I work on promotional designs for their programmes - I nearly got to work on Doctor Who last year...). I hope to move into film (as it were) at some point, but I don't know when, and my ideas can be a bit too ambitious for the money-men. If you get my meaning. I love films - comedy, adventure, sci-fi, that kind of thing - and some music (orchestral mostly - my favourite classical composers are Strauss and Beethoven, my favourite "modern" composers are Bernard Herrmann and Henry Mancini - but I'm also very fond of a lot of John Barry's work, as you MI6'ers will doubtless know). My favourite actor is James Stewart (living actor probably Liam Neeson), and my favourite director is probably Alfred Hitchcock. My favourite of his films are Vertigo and Rear Window. I also like TV dramas and sci-fi - good ones, mind - especially Inspector Morse and Star Trek (the original series and The Next Generation). But I'm not a Trekkie, got that? OK? Not a trekkie... not a trekkie...

Anyone on IMDb Pink Panther board already know/hate me. I live in California. I was alive when Bruce Lee died, but that's as close as I'll get to revealing my age. Beside PP I'm into things nobody ever heard of and/or don't exist anymore: Mystery Science Theater 3000, Red Dwarf, Ralph Bakshi, Vaugh Bode, Mr Bungle, and most of all Frank Zappa.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 is the guy with the two robot puppets who make fun of old Godzilla movies. You can see some of their work on Youtube. Ralph Bakshi did really cool animation in the 60's through 80's (Cool World, Wizards, which is based on Vaugh Bode's Cheech Wizard, and I believe Return of the King, the animated version) Vaugh Bode's Cheech Wizard is an old comic strip. I've tried three different sentences to describe it, but failed every time. He's a fake guru who often kicks his assistant in the nads. His son has some of work online, and the Beastie Boys mentioned him in the song Sure Shot on Ill Communication. "I'm like Vaughn Bode, I'm a Cheech Wizard" Mr. Bungle is the band the guy who used to sing for Faith No More, Mike Patton, had signed as a proviso for joining Faith No More. They have a website with song samples, especially video game music like Metroid, Link, Zelda. They are too weird to describe. Frank Zappa is the greatest songwriter/guitar player who ever lived. If you ever get a chance, sit down and listen to "Don't Eat the Yellow Snow" on Apostrophe.

My real name is Bill Maynard. I live in Ohio. I work in contracts, but hope to one day make my living as a full-time writer. I am a husband and father. I have contributed to ezboard's Pink Panther site and the now-defunct BlakeEdwards.com usually under the name of Colonel Al Durai. My favorite Panther is A Shot in the Dark. I own all the films on DVD as well as the novelizations and most of the screenplays. I have an extensive collection of books, DVDs, and CDs that occupy my time when I'm not working, being a Dad, or writing.

I didn't see this thread. Not that your missing anything not knowing things about me, but this forum is a part of my day to day life so yeah..
Well my name is Ben. I am a 21 year old from Sydney, Australia. Presently I work in a traineeship in computers. My biggest pleasures in life are music and movies. I play guitar, bass, drums, and have a small knowledge of other instruments here and there. I used to play in a few different bands, but have given up on this as people just following the same boring generic rock/metal thing coming on MTV and whatever. I like a bit of rock music, but not the crap nowadays. With exceptions of course. But mainly nowadays where I can, considering work schedules etc, I try to work on my own music solo, whether it is various instrumental pieces etc. My other main hobby in life is related to movies. My two biggest obsessions are Pink Panther movies obviously and James Bond. I, also, recently signed up on MI6 forums; my screen name there is ben114. Been going through buying the recent DVD releases and books, and hoping to further my autograph collections eventually.
That's whats going on these days anyway. Not to bore you with my whole life story but things have been pretty down in the dumps here where I am; alot of people here don't really have the same interests I do, they think I'm lame or I need a life, well I don't care and yeah the truth is I think I was born in the wrong generation. I wish I could have been there for when these great classic PP and 007 movies were coming out and I could go to these kinds of premieres and try to meet Peter Sellers or Roger Moore. Recently I happened across the Casino Royale premiere with Daniel Craig and although I didn't get to meet him I tried to make the most out of the experience, and when I went to see the movie a few days ago finally at the cinema, it was a surreal experience, seeing a brand new James Bond movie.
Anyway sorry for ranting on.

well i, for one, thought what you had to say was pretty interesting, ben... i also think i was born in the wrong decade... my roommate in college used to insist that i would have been cool if i had been a teenager in the '60s... my taste in music, movies, and TV shows seems largely to be stuck in the 60s and 70s, which is odd, since i wasn't alive for either decade... so yeah, i can definitely identify with where you're coming from... anyway, Cheers! and good luck with your music! 8)
