They both do what they do very well, but neither are as versatile as Rush.

well the only thing i've seen Rush in was this program, so i can't comment too much, but i do agree that whether you liked this program much or not, Rush's acting in it was impeccable... at times, i even forgot that it wasn't really Sellers on the screen!

Rush is great, the film isn't. When that happens, its really a double-side blade...

well it's an interesting film, at least, whether you believe it's grounded in truth or not... apparently, TLaDoPS premiered on HBO Asia last night... i came across a rather favorable review written up, undoubtedly, as a PR push to promote it in the region there... here's the link to that, if anyone's interested... www.taipeitimes.com/News/feat/archives/2006/09/08/2003326774

Well I saw it last night. Geoffrey Rush was fantastic as Sellers. I found it quite a sad film and it made me feel sorry for Peter. John Lithgow was great as Blake Edwards and Charlize theron was good as Ekland. Rush really looked like Sellers.

well it's an interesting film, at least, whether you believe it's grounded in truth or not... Oh, I agree. I just think that Rush could've played Sellers in any film about him, and the material in which he eventually did, didn't match the effort from Rush nor did it represent a valid and accurate recollection of Peter Sellers's life.
