seeing as how the month of Auguste is almost upon us, i thought this might be an amusing poll to have... Through wind and mud, snow and hail, Whether long or short, dark or pale, Remember that when duty calls, You've got Balls!Harvey Korman was the first choice to play Professor Auguste Balls, as his scenes that appeared in Trail were originally intended for TPPSA, but for one reason or another, they were cut from that film, and he evidently wasn't available when they wanted to use the character in Revenge, so Graham Stark - who has played roles in every Panther film except TPP63 and TPP06 - picked it up... then, since they wanted to use Korman's Balls in Trail, they got him to reprise his role for Curse, but evidently the role was cursed, because for whatever reason, Korman was again unavailable for Son, and Stark's Balls was brought back into play... so my question to you is, whose Balls do you like better?? Harvey Korman's Balls?? or Graham Stark's Balls?? personally, my vote goes to Harvey Korman, whose wild hair, curled mustache, and eccentric style seemed to fit the role much better, IMO...

I really prefer Graham Stark as Professor Balls, there's something annoying about the other one...I think the opening scene in Trail of the Pink Panther would have worked alot better if it was Graham.. He just fits the character so much better

I am a big fan of Harvey Korman and despite Totpp and Cotpp not being fantastic films he still was very funny. I also love him as Hedley Laamar in Blazing Saddles.

I also love him as Hedley Laamar in Blazing Saddles. as big a fan as i know you are of Revenge, i'm a little surprised you prefer Korman's Balls, but then, like you said, even though Korman wasn't in particularly great films, he still did do a very good job... i dunno why, but for me, i just never really bought Graham in the role... the one and only thing that stuck out about Graham's portrayal that i kinda liked was the way he said the word "particularly" in Son... besides that, Korman was perfect, IMO...
