thanks guys! i did have a pretty excellent birthday... my wife, who is extremely tolerant of all my obsessions, and who happens to be quite talented, as well, too it upon herself to bake me a double-layered chocolate birthday cake, and then she decorated it just for me, and she did a fantastic job! look at this: she didn't use any kind of store-bought mold or pattern or anything... she explained to me later how she decorated it... she gave the whole thing a layer of white icing... then she dyed some icing in two shades of pink and added that on to make the basic shape of the Panther's head... the red/pink outlines are cherry-flavored Twizzlers, the nose is hot pink sprinkles, the eyeballs are yellow gumdrops, the pupils and the eyebrows are manipulated Tootsie Rolls, and the whiskers are chocolate-flavored Twizzlers! said she printed off a couple pictures of the Panther from the Internet to use as her guide, and that was it! boy, i'm lucky to have such a wonderful wife, ain't i?
