yes, Happy Belated Birthday to Ms Cardinale... yesterday was also the birthday of two other Panther-related people not mentioned in our official calendar... Charlie Chaplin (who influenced both Peter Sellers and Blake Edwards, among others) and Peter Ustinov (who was set to play Clouseau in TPP63, but fortunately bowed out early, allowing Peter Sellers to step in and make cinematic history!)... and don't forget Henry Mancini, whose birthday was also on the 16th (and on the official calendar!)... Happy Belated Birthday to each of them!

Happy Birthday to TPMB member Mancini!
unfortunately, you're right, Dreyfus, there are a lot of people who don't seem to come around anymore... maybe some of them will come back soon, though... you never know...

thanks very much for the well-wishes, guys! as a matter of fact, i had a very Panther-filled birthday! my wife made the card she gave me, which included her own drawings of the Pink Panther... she also bought me a Pink Panther board game, which i'm sure i'll be sharing more about in the Merchandise section in the near future... and as gifts from other people, i also received four of Sellers' non-Panther films on DVD and the book "Peter Sellers: A Life in Character" (i'm also sure i'll share more about the book in the Merchandise section once i get around to it, though that'll unfortunately be a while, as i'm working on another book at the moment; the pictures in this book are really cool, though!)... anyway, yes, it's been a very nice day, and thanks again for the well-wishes! hope you all had a nice day, as well!

A Pink panther board game sounds cool. Is it based on the cartoons or the films?

A Pink panther board game sounds cool. Is it based on the cartoons or the films? well i suppose it leans more toward to the cartoons than the films, but it's interesting, to say the least... look for my full review in the Merchandise section in the very near future...
